Abstract

In searching for solutions for unsafe locations in the road network Road Administrations are often confronted with suggestions, wishes or demands from the local civilian population. This contribution describes the problematic of a junction and a solution (traffic-lights) suggested by the civilian population. At the same time a description is given of a solution without traffic-lights which was realized. It appears that this alternative solution has improved the situation very satisfactory.
