Treated subjects are: light and shade reflection and refraction of light; curvature of rays of light in the atmosphere; the measurement of candle power and luminance; the eye; the colours; after-image and contrast phenomena; light and colour of the air, clouds, water, and solid materials; luminous plants, animals and stones.
