Abstract

The number of driving-license holders, who, after having been convicted for drunken driving, continue to commit the same offence, is increasing considerably. It is shown why the punishing of this group of road users has such a slight effect. First offenders should be treated correctionally. A possible amplification of the Road Traffic Act is presented.
