Abstract
In history there are a number of examples that goverrunente try to influenee transportation through legislation. Especially rail transport and aviation are areas where governments have intervened. Also internationally legislation is impressive in the field of transportation law. Transport is important for international trade and transportation law has also, been part of commerce law and international commerce law in particular. In transportation law there are many treaties and international standard agreements.
