Abstract
The task of the designer of signalization can be described as a contribution to spatial planning. Planning in form and function as well as the meaning of information provisions. The designer must have criteria as legibility, perception, identification, practical usefulness and aesthetics. A good layout must have an open-end, that is to say that the application of the layout in all circumstances must be possible without losing the distinctive characteristics.
