Abstract
A research has been done into the selection that passengers made, especially car owners with a steady place of work in Amsterdam, and all with the characteristic that they have to use the tunnel under the IJ for making their journey to work. After the journey times the costvariables are a second important determinant. There is still much indistinctness of the questions which data are necessary for the analysis regarding the selection of transport mode.
