Abstract

In the next few years, public transport policies will have to anticipate significant changes. Especially in the case of a large increase in car ownership, marginal improvements of public transport cannot solve the problems of the near future. The public transport authorities must address a new market, consisting mainly of the growing category of car users. Depending whether residents or visitors are concerned, the demands of this target group vary.
