During the period 1978- 1988 travel has clearly increased. This increasing mobility has regularly caused a lot of delay during peak hour traffic. There has hardly been any shift in time of the morning peak hour. There is a certain tendency in the morning for a shift of peak hour to a later time and in the afternoon for a shift to an earlier time. Work and educational trips showed no difference in peak hours wit the peak for all trips in the morning. In the afternoon the trips for education have resulted in an earlier peak hour.
