Abstract
Study into the relationships between accidents and road situations which can be considered as causes for these accidents. Therefore many data of roads outside built up areas, data on traffic and data on accidents must be collected. A method of collecting was needed which joins the data specially to the road location. Road characteristics were collected of each hundred meters and transverse profiles of each hundred meter sections were made.
