Abstract

The design of intersections with separate cycle tracks along the major road is discussed, especially the cycle crossing parallel with the major road. This led to some hypotheses as to the design which is considered to be safe. At the same time the data collection is discussed which served the analysis of the unsafety of existing situations. In the next issue of Verkeerskunde the method of analysis and the results of the application will be discussed.
