Abstract
The paper deals with the analysis of modal choice in the corridor Caïro-Alexanderia in Eqypt. A survevy has been carried out among passengers leaving Caïro at the terminals of trains, busses and intercity taxis. The results show a major influence of income on modal choice. Higher incomes prefer the more expensive, faster and more comfortables modes.
