Abstract

Conditional forecasting of migration or mobility in general requires the use of models. Due to their mathematical structure, most of the available models imply a considerable simplification of the underlying choice behaviour. The application of models based on a computer reproduction of the decision plan nets of individuals offers an attractive solution to this problem. In this paper the results are presented of the development of a decision support system concerning housing supply, based on individual decision plan nets and realised by applying expert system tools.
