Abstract
This definition study formulates educational and policy goals directed at 4 to 18 year-old pupils. The study describes how traffic and transport behaviour can be influenced through education, so that the negative consequences for environment and traffic safety are limited. The study is based on the Dutch Second Structure Scheme on Traffic and Transport (SVVII) policy objectives. These objectives are mainly aimed at: (1) improving both the quality of life and accessibility; and (2) reducing the mobility by car use.
