Abstract
Information is supplied on how to become a more skilful cyclist, safety precautions and clothing for riding in any weather, how to tandem, bicycling with children, and carrying as well as protecting the bicycle. Medical aspects of bicycling is provided in a special chapter of this book. All parts of the bicycle are described, what they are and how they function, with special emphasis on the rim and tire which are important parts for gaining maximum performance. Wheel building is discussed in detail.
