Demand bus for a new town.

Abstract

Experimental runs of bus services both on a fixed time-table service and on a demand operated system were made in two villages of the new town of Columbia, Md. This led to both systems to be tested each for one year in each village, after which results will be compared. Various combinations of transport services were analyzed and regards a number of possible passengers and estimation of costs.
