Abstract

The author agrees that the regulation by which rail traffic (trams) have priority of other traffic should be applied also to other public transport systems buses. Their necessary braking performance can not be improved, because of comfort of the passengers. The author describes a test which shows that a car, having sufficient braking distance, can collide with the car before him, because of different conditions, and by the difference in reaction time of the drivers.
