Abstract

Newspaper, magazines and television contain not only information about road accident prevention (e.g. driving tips slogans) but also information on the automobile, which could have a negative influence on safe behaviour in traffic. In a study a representative number of car advertisements, tv- spots and car tests were put together and their contents analysed. In addition, a special experiment was made to compare the attraction of car advertisements with other advertisements.
