Abstract
Changes in the text of the Oriënteringsnota on physical planning are presented. Results of discussions around this nota are commented and the motivation for the changes are given. Some of the main points are the following statements: a) Renovation of towns is done in a more slowly tempo than expected. b) Public transport has been developed in a more slowly way than expected. c) By the influence of sub-urbanisation the central open space between urban zones is affected.
