Abstract

Starting from current transport conditions in Mexico, the applied and initial works in the intelligent transportation systems (ITS) field as well as competitive levels requiring it to participate successfully in globalize markets and logistics world chains are presented. A general overview of works by the national architecture deployment is discussed, in base to ITS architectures from developed economies. In the design is included the fundamental considerations for the national architecture, the model by its drawing up and the general development framework of transport in Mexico; this means a necessary tool by the appropriate application of ITS technologies according to safety and efficient way.
