Abstract

The single- occupant NEXUS vehicle design represents a major step forward in the reduction of fuel requirements for safe, personal commuting. Passenger car safety standards applicable to enclosed three- wheeled vehicles, are incorporated in this design. Good acceleration, stable handling, and a top speed of 140 km /h proffer further optimization and widespread adaptation of NEXUS- type vehicles by industry.
