Abstract

The term "misusers" in relation to drinking pattern and alcohol level was described. Preliminary estimates made by Brenner of relative risks associated with several ranges of blood alcohol were described for various kinds of accidents. Several models of distribution about by any hypothetical deterrent were presented, together with estimated reduction of accidents of various kinds for each model. Various deterrents were described and discussed.
