Abstract

Traffic congestion in the St. Louis bi-state area is being partially addressed through the preparation of a freeway management plan. The one year project was completed in May, 1994 and includes immediate action, near-term, mid-term, long-term, ultimate plans for the implementation of ATMS. An active outreach program contributed to the success of the project and included public and special interest group meetings. (A)
