A questionnaires study was carried out in urban areas of the Klang Valley, Malaysia. The aims of this study were, to analyse drivers' background, experience, attitudes, lane and non lane changing practices, and their driving behaviour on the roads; and, to develop models of lane and non lane-changing behaviour. Logistic regression method was used to analyse these respondents. Fourteen models of lane and non lane changing were developed and validated statistically. The results indicated that drivers' parameters such as giving way to others to change into their lanes, giving signals to change lanes, and having six to ten years of driving experience were some of the components of lane-changing models. Whereas some of the drivers' parameters such as drivers who do not beat red lights if forced to, reject challenges to break road traffic rules and speed up for interviews were those who were forecast not to change lane.
