Development of ACC for vehicle with manual transmission.

Abstract

An adaptive cruise control (ACC) system has been developed for various vehicles. This paper explains a manual transmission vehicle equipped with outline of ACC along with the investigation and the results of test drives. The mental workload reduction was evaluated. In addition, characteristic problems and their solutions are introduced. For the covering abstract see ITRD E825082.
