Abstract

One of the aims of this paper is to highlight a philosophy for employing mathematical models. The other aim is to present some results obtained in the field of utilization of the MVMA-APR mathematical model drawn from three studies: two studies on pedestrian configurations and one in head-on collision configurations with a passenger restrained by a shoulder belt and a knee bar.
