Abstract

A Driving While Intoxicated (DWI)-prevention program for schools of motoring, consisting of a videotape, series of slides, textbooks and an instruction book was developed. The program was implemented as an integrated part of the usual "theory-lessons". These lessons are followed by future car-drivers, a neglected, but important target group. Most of them are 18-24 years. This study aim's at an evaluation of the efficacy of the DWI-program on knowledge, attitude and behaviour intention.
