Abstract

The ATT programme is now entering the phase in which actual implementation of traffic telematic applications will take place. These implementations will need to fit in a higher level structure, in which they are able to collaborate, without impediments for the system's efficiency, effectivity and future developments. An architectural development approach allows for the definition of a telematic infrastructure, that can provide a solid foundation for the integration of individual systems during many generations of computer technology.
