Abstract

Automobiles are designed to be entered and operated by "average" sized, "normal" people. Some physically disabled people are unable to drive unless certain further adaptations are made to the car. This paper reports on the development of a total system of van-based driver evaluation and training at a rehabilitation hospital, to mode modifications of the van financial possible.
