Abstract
The development work to date has proved that it is possible to attain practical standards of humanlike performance combined with relative simplicity, robustness and economy of manufacture. In particular, the concept of producing a more simple and robust dummy which is less sensitive to minor variation in setting up procedures and test/parameters have produced benefits in terms of repeatability of test results.
