Abstract

A program for analyzing the data tapes produced by the portable axle load survey recorder is described. The main purpose of the program ALSER is to compose the survey data into a suitable format for analysis by RATTLE, an independently written tabulation program. With minor adaptations the ALSER program could be used with other commonly available tabulation programs.
