Abstract

The testing of a restraint system, performed on an acceleration sled using Hybrid II dummies, is described. Summarizing, it can be said, in the case of 3% elongation belt systems, the forward displacement as well as the overall load is reduced as compared to conventional systems with elongations of more than 12%.
