Abstract

The possibility of multi-function car navigation system in limited space depends greatly on miniaturization and higher performance of each of the key devices that compose the system. GPS (Global Positioning System) Receiver is one of the important key devices within car navigation systems. A top level GPS Receiver is described which is small in size and high in performance with the capacity of only 3 cc. To achieve this goal, RF-IC, 1 chip signal processing LSI, and high-density PCB (Print Circuit Board) were developed. For the covering abstract see ITRD E114174.
