Abstract

This thesis gives a detailed report on the development of the curved Fresnel lens making it possible to control luminous flux in a smoothly curved configuration. The signalling lamps of the automobile are indispensable functional parts and at the same time play an important role in the automobile's design. Because styling with a low drag coefficient has become an automotive design prerequisite, lamp design has also become increasingly restricted, and even more so due to efforts to expand interior space and trunk room of the automobile for comfort and convenience.
