Abstract

This paper presents a project whose aim is to develop a training program for specialists who plan and implement interactive information systems. They have to develop and introduce information and instructions so that users - especially senior citizens - will be able to utilize the system in the way it is planned. Brief guidance is given about the wording used, the timing at which a specific type of information is provided, and the type of information required. The infopoint information terminal developed by Swedish railways is described briefly as an example of a well designed information system.
