Abstract

A review of traffic safety literature was conducted to evaluate the potential of assessment techniques for identifying driver problems. The state-of-the-art review describes the utility of diagnostic assessment techniques in several human factor and condition areas. A critical review was conducted in each of the areas, and recommendations for further research have been made.
