Abstract

The present physiological express-methods allow to diagnose tiredness of drivers with regard for the specific character of their work. Tests and examinations envisaged by the methods can be successfully carried out on location without interrupting the routine activity of a driver. They are easily applied; no stationary current sources are required for their realization. Another advantage of the methods is consisted in a possibility of diagnosing different degrees of tiredness. It concerns, first of all, the method of variation pulsometry (cardiointervalography) that proved to be most suitable for the diagnostics of nervous-emotional strain of a driver. Apart from detailed description of the methods the present report contains results of the examination of bus drivers carried out with their use. Timely diagnostics of drivers's tiredness can serve as a physiological basis for development of measures directed at rationalization of working and recreation conditions of professional drivers.
