Abstract

6 Dial-a-bus studies are summarized. They are all many-to-one or many-to-few and fare varies between 40 and 12 pence. Each of the projects serve an area of 5 to 6000 residents. Questions about the availability of telephones and the effect they would have on the success of these systems, and the costs of operation are discussed.
