Dial-a-Ride project in Ann Arbor : description and operation.

Abstract

The project, designed to test the market response and variability of door-to-door, dynamically routed and scheduled public transportation in a service area of 3.300 households, is summarized. It is concluded that there is substantial support for public transport and for dial-a-ride in particular.
