Abstract
A mail survey was conducted in the political subdivision in which dial-a-ride system was to be experimented, and 6300 questionnaires were mailed. A second survey was conducted 13 weeks after the system went in operation. All evidence point toward encouragement for public transportation with dial-a-ride.
