Abstract

Many things are designed badly. People who use equipments are often irritated by the wrong design of these equipments. The design is mostly not attuned to the requirements to users ask- , requirements coming from the principles of cognitive psychology. The book shows examples from daily life under which traffic signs, copying apparatus, telephone exchange; stereo installation etc. The way how to design well and wrong is illustrated.
