An analysis is made of the medical histories of 8589 casualties who suffered injuries in the years 1964 to 1973 and who survived. The casualties are divided into age-groups of 5 years each. The change in vehicle types over the ten-year period is also studied. It emerges that the number of injured motor-cycle drivers and passengers has dropped in contrast tot the increasing number of injured car driver and passengers. A further section of the report deals with the incidence of various types of badly injury.
