Abstract

It is possible on the basis of autopsy findings to recognise typical injuries of the individual groups participating in traffic: after injuries to the skull injuries of the legs & of the pelvis are most frequently found in pedestrians, in persons riding in cars injuries of the thorax are found most frequently. Severe head injuries are the largest portion for cyclist and motorcyclist. For them head injury is almost typical.
