The human spine exhibits definite deformations, which are determined by the shape of its individual elements. Should the column be moved out of its forward convex into a backward convex position due to sitting, then abnormal posture results. Sitting posture is the most critical form of posture for the human frame. In a motor car seat it is considered as a permanent position and in addition vibrations are admitted. Therefore the highest requirements are demanded for the car seat.
