Abstract

The authors' objective in this paper, rather than giving a full description of these elements of the new Wellington Transport Strategy Model (WTSM), is to describe either particular innovative features and some of the practical difficulties encountered during model development. The authors discuss aspects of the development of the distribution/mode choice model in Section 2, the road network in Section 3 and model validation in Section 4.
