Abstract

Research on the dynamic behaviour of roads under moving vehicles includes an investigation of the additional loadings applied to the road by the passage of heavy commercials vehicles over surface irregularities. This note describes computer programs, written for an I.C.T. "Atlas" computer, for the study of the dynamic loading produced by the passage of such a vehicle, either over an isolated irregularity, or along a road, the profile of which has been recorded.
