Abstract

Considerable effort has been spent on the disaggregate behavioural modelling of travel decisions. Attention is now being paid to the measurement of the disaggregate, behavioural modelling of interurban travel by (1) collating and reviewing literature; (2) focusing attention on the importance and salient features of spatial choice models in these contexts; and (3) outlining research problems and strategies.
