Discriminative properties of D-amphetamine in pigeons.

Abstract

Two out of four pigeons were successfully trained in an operant procedure to discriminate between the presence and the absence of the effects induced by a-amphetamine. Information on some discriminable effects of this drug in pigeons is presented.
