Abstract

In an earlier paper results from field observations show slower than average speeds of travel in many high BAC crashes. Further issues requiring exploration are the effects of underlying personality characteristics and modifiers of risk taking behaviour in the presence of alcohol, and the interactions of driver and vehicle characteristics to affect risk taking behaviour after alcohol use.
