Abstract

This small study examined the effects of various display characteristics on judgments of coincidence with a target, in a laboratory simulation of land vehicle guidance using fixed, forward-facing, optical systems. Performance was not significantly influenced by display size or viewing distance; nor by vehicle speed or target preview.
