Abstract

Freight transport is the result of a flow of commodities which is inevitable in an urban area. The multi various and widespread locations of final consumers require a road distribution, which is why trucks and delivery vans are as inevitable as the movement of goods. The difficulties of urban freight transport vary with the size, the structure and the function of the urban area.
